I have configured DataImportScheduler in Solr, which hits the url specified in the parameter attribute in the property file, without it being a Delta Import Controlling the database schema. DataImportScheduler's sole purpose is to ignite the HTTP post command in its properties file with parameters and intervals to fire. There is nothing to do with the easy scheduling (where there are no cron jobs) on the Windows server with the DB schema.
