I'm getting the error while starting the storage emulator. I accidentally deleted mdf And deleted the logged files in the user / admin folder. It keeps any reference and is not allowing me to recreate the DB.   This problem is if you use the data file  C: \ users \ & lt; Username & gt; \ DevelopmentStorageDb201206.mdf  but do not delete the related databases at local DB server frequency. One possible solution is:  
  Connect to  SQL Server Management Studio  to  (localdb) \ v11.0  example.  
  Development StoreDebab 201206  Delete the database error message that the database deletion ended with an error. Ignore this message and manually refresh the database list.  
 You can now start the Azure Storage Emulator.
