I am working on an MVC app, which has a registration form where I use Comparison, Essential and Regex attributes Want to The email verification user must enter their email address, and then confirm the email address, I want to use comparative properties to ensure that they enter the same thing is my model; [Regular Exposure ("Reggae is here", error message = "Please enter a valid e-mail address")] [required] [required] [datatype (datatype email address )] [Display (name = "email")] {get public string email address; Set; } [Compare ("email address", error message = "email and confirmation email do not match.")] [Regular expression ("" Reggae is here ", error message =" Please send a valid e-mail Enter the address ")] [required] [datatype (datatype.mailaddress)] [Display (name =" Confirm email ")] Receive public string confirmation email address; Set; } All other validations ie essential / regex works fine, but for comparison it does not work on the client side, it works as it comes back when the post comes back and the errors . / P>
I have read many articles, which states that jquery.validate.unobtrusive and jquery1.5.1 have a bug but whatever does that does not solve the problem.
I am pulling my hair here, any help would be appreciated!
If you are in anyway fancy recognition, you grabbing the closure of NuGet, its own "similarity" attribute That you may have more luck.
(Note on one side, you probably do not have to check the confirmation address.)
