Here's something I would like to ask about JVM:
- Is anyone free Is Bayer's Metal Use JVM Server?
- Is there a "proxy" JVM which runs bitcodes from the Beer Metal server?
For example, running a Java application on the client while the bytecodes are actually executed from the server? Is this possible?
I am currently looking at
Oracle Zerocket , however, I am not sure whether it fulfills the job requirements?
You can use Core Java as a server on the cut-down version of an operating system eg . Linux on the network device.
The problem is that the more you strip, the more functionality you have to manage the device.
The more light weight and the smaller JVM, the less performance you get, the "full fat" server JVM will provide the best performance for long-lasting applications.
