Debug software for android devices? -

I can not debug my Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 with Eclipse because this device does not recognize drivers. I downloaded some drivers but the device is not recognized by the OS. Windows XP with my OS service pack. 3. Are there any Android debug apps that can be installed on the device and debug other apps? Sony Ericsson X10 Driver Download Page:
