Anyone know that How to get back to behavior or old search?
When you execute a search in the new "Find and Replace", you can press F3 to cycle through the results (similar to the old behavior). However, you have to click the ESC to enter the active cursor position in your code. With the old installation (if you have the search window auto-off) the cursor is already in the code. Requires dropdown list to open history of suppressing searches without pressing the ASC.
Actually, I just want the old search window, it works perfectly.
No, this is a new search box, and is basically no longer available by default. What you can do to file a bug report on this site, but honestly it will be ignored because MS has decided that this new version of Visual Studio (in my own humble opinion) is not necessary for usability

Alternatively, I think you can create an extension that repeats the previous behavior (like I'm doing for all my macros), but it is also in the area of the region. / P>
