html - Difference between quirks mode and standards mode JavaScript -

Is there any difference between these two methods in javascript in IE 9? If so, what are they?

IE9 supports standard document mode, so the method such as ForEach , each , map array and defineProperty , key object Support is well
IE9 standards support document mode enhanced DOM programmability. (Maybe you're interested in, but not so). IE9 deletes the key between Java implementation and IE8.
Quirks mode supports the JavaScript functionality of IE6, it is similar to the behavior of IE5 and the Quirks mode behavior of IE6, IE7 and IE8.
